Cancelling — what do I get back?

Standard scale

The host sets the cancellation policy. For a standard booking:

• Cancel ≥ 7 days before start: full refund.
• Cancel 3–7 days before start: 50% refund.
• Cancel < 3 days before start: no refund.

Hosts can pick a more lenient policy ("flex"). The listing always shows which policy applies.

Host cancels

If the host cancels you get 100% back, including service fees. The host receives a strike, and we may remove repeat offenders.

Force majeure

Natural disaster, code-red weather, death in immediate family — contact us via /contact. We assess case-by-case and may grant a full refund regardless of policy.

Go to My bookings → the booking → Cancel. You'll see exactly how much you get back before confirming.
