How does renting on Campplek work?
From booking to return — the full cycle in four steps.
In short
Renting on Campplek has four steps: book, pay, pick up, return. We hold your payment in escrow until the host confirms a successful return.
1. Book
Pick the dates on the listing and click Add to cart. You can combine multiple items in one payment. You have 15 minutes to complete payment before your reservation is released.
2. Pay
Pay upfront with iDEAL. Funds are escrowed — the host only receives them after a successful return.
3. Pick up
You and the host arrange a pickup time via messages. Taking photos at pickup is wise — they help if a damage dispute arises later.
4. Return
Return within the agreed window. The host confirms return in their dashboard; your deposit is released. No reply in 72 hours? We auto-mark the booking as completed.
