My payment failed — what now?
What happens to your reservation and what to try.
Reservation held for 15 minutes
After a failed iDEAL attempt, your reservation is held for 15 minutes. Click Try again in the cart or in your email.
Common causes
- Bank app closed before confirming — no harm, retry.
- Daily limit hit — raise it in the bank app or try a different method.
- Name or account flagged — contact your bank.
- Our side: rare but happens. We'll also email you in that case.
Try another method
The checkout lets you switch between iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card and SEPA. For SEPA your reservation is held 24h (transfer is slower).
Reservation expired
Let the 15 minutes lapse? Just create the booking again — if the dates are still free. We'll return your item to the market.
Failed after 3 tries?
Open a ticket with the time of your last attempt. We can usually pinpoint the issue within 1 business day.
