iDIN verification explained

What is iDIN?

iDIN is a Dutch identity service from the major Dutch banks. You confirm who you are by logging into your own bank — similar to iDEAL but for identity.

What does Campplek receive?

After a successful iDIN flow we get from your bank:

• Your full name
• Date of birth
• Postal address (depending on scope)

We receive no bank statements, balances, or PIN codes. iDIN is privacy-friendly by design.

Why is it mandatory for hosts?

• Anti-fraud — fake accounts can't claim payouts.
• Disputes — for serious claims we know who to contact.
• Dutch law (Wwft) — as an intermediary we must verify identity.

How long does it take?

1–2 minutes. You're redirected to your bank app or web banking, you confirm, done.

Bank not supported?

iDIN works with ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank, SNS, ASN, RegioBank, Triodos, Knab, bunq, Revolut (NL). No NL bank? Contact us — we have a manual route with an ID copy.

Does it cost anything?

No. Not for you, not for us.
