What happens to your report?

What counts as abuse?
- Listings: prohibited items, fake photos, price spam, stolen goods.
- Users: intimidation, threats, racism, scams (asking to pay outside Campplek).
- Messages: spam, scams, inappropriate content.
How to report
- Listing: bottom-right on a listing page, click Report abuse.
- User / messages: on that person's messaging page, click the three-dot menu → Report.
- General: send us a ticket via /contact under Safety.
What we see
- The page URL you're reporting
- The reason you picked
- Optional description
- A timestamp + your user ID (for follow-up)
Your identity as reporter is not visible to the reported party.
Response time
- Safety issues: within 4 hours.
- Prohibited items / fraud: within 24 hours.
- Lighter violations: within 5 business days.
What happens
We review evidence and may:
- Issue a warning.
- Hide or remove the listing.
- Suspend or remove the user.
- For serious cases: report to authorities.
We usually loop the reporter back in when the case is resolved — unless secrecy during investigation is required.
