What happens to your report?

What counts as abuse?

  • Listings: prohibited items, fake photos, price spam, stolen goods.
  • Users: intimidation, threats, racism, scams (asking to pay outside Campplek).
  • Messages: spam, scams, inappropriate content.

How to report

  • Listing: bottom-right on a listing page, click Report abuse.
  • User / messages: on that person's messaging page, click the three-dot menu → Report.
  • General: send us a ticket via /contact under Safety.

What we see

  • The page URL you're reporting
  • The reason you picked
  • Optional description
  • A timestamp + your user ID (for follow-up)

Your identity as reporter is not visible to the reported party.

Response time

  • Safety issues: within 4 hours.
  • Prohibited items / fraud: within 24 hours.
  • Lighter violations: within 5 business days.

What happens

We review evidence and may:

  • Issue a warning.
  • Hide or remove the listing.
  • Suspend or remove the user.
  • For serious cases: report to authorities.

We usually loop the reporter back in when the case is resolved — unless secrecy during investigation is required.
