Becoming a host — what do I need?

Quick version

1. iDIN verification — confirm identity via your bank app. Free.
2. IBAN — enter your account for payouts.
3. Signup fee — one-off €10 anti-fraud verification.
4. First listing — add photos + description + price.

This usually takes 6 minutes.

Why the signup fee?

The €10 is a one-off threshold that filters out professional scammers — negligible for genuine hosts, but enough to deter abuse. It's not refundable, including if you later quit.

What do you earn?

You receive the full rental price minus a 4% commission to Campplek. You keep 96%.

Example: rent a tent at €60/day for 2 days. Gross: €120. Campplek commission: €4.80. Your payout: €115.20.

Who can host?

• 18 or older
• Dutch bank account with iDIN-supported bank (nearly all NL banks)
• Address in NL or border region BE/DE (within 50 km)
